Offered as a rare opportunity for the pioneer enthusiast or builder: a kit of original period parts gathered over many years to assemble an early veteran clip-on motorcycle (ideal for engines such as Clément, Werner, or similar early units dating from 1902/3.

Key Components & Features:

  • Frame: Original period heavy-tubed cycle/motorcycle and forks built with the correct geometry and clearance for a pioneer engine. Nice details including the ornate front fork crown.

  • Fuel Tank: Slim brass pointed bullet shaped cross-bar fuel tank in period pattern.

  • Wheels: Fitted with proper period Westwood pattern rims.

  • Seating: Period French 'Ideal' double-sprung leather saddle mounted on a correct rear-facing L-shaped pillar (leather is intact with characterful aging).

  • Controls & Steering: 1-inch swept handlebars complete with a rare set of original cork-lined grips and the remains of the period plunger front brake lever setup.

  • Brakes & Drivetrain: Matching front and rear calliper brakes alongside an authentic 5-arm chainset.

  • A new old stock ornate brass headstock badge is also included.

Condition: The components vary in surface finish and patina as expected for items of this era, but all present a solid foundation for restoration or sympathetic oily-rag assembly. Note that no engine is included—the parts are currently loosely assembled for photographic illustration only.
