The Red Bug was conceived as a simple low cost automobile. Powered either by Smith Motor Wheels or by electric propulsion. Their lightweight and simplicity made them quite popular. Notable customers even include "Le Patron" Ettore Bugatti. They were also used for hire purposes along sea front towns like Deauville in France.

This particular machine spent most of its life on a private Scottish estate as a mode of transport. It is pretty original with its orn and lighting system. Powered by a dodge starter motor and car batteries. Fitted with a modification for reverse in  the form of a 'Frankenstein' type lever which cleverly reverses the polarity of the motor. In need of some new tyres, but otherwise very original and ready to use and enjoy. NOW SOLD.
